    Obituary

    REVD COLIN WRAY DYMOCK MAUNSELL 1933-2005

    45 years in Ethiopia

    Colin Maunsell was a Bible Churchmen’s Missionary Society (later Crosslinks) mission partner in Ethiopia for 45 years and made a tremendous contribution to the life of the churches in that time.

    He taught at the Orthodox seminary, supported many protestant churches, wrote many books and pamphlets and was latterly completing a three volume systematic theology in Amharic. He was a great friend to many, a gifted preacher and teacher and a devoted husband.

    Colin died after a long fight against cancer and was buried here in Addis Ababa. Please pray for his wife Hazel in her grief. She will remain in Ethiopia and continue the work Colin has begun. We thank God for him.
