Obituary TOM HORNSBY 2005 Architect of the Qatar Anglican Centre Bishop Clive remembers Tom Hornsby

I am sad to report that Tom Hornsby died on the night of 15th December. Many will remember meeting him when he came to the Cyprus and the Gulf Synod. He was the Architect for our Qatar Project and happily was present at the Appeal Launch at Lambeth, even though by then he was in a wheelchair.

The funeral took place on 22nd December at St Mary’s Church, Islington, with which Tom had been associated for most of his life. Archdeacon Ian Young, who had of course worked very closely with Tom, attended the funeral and represented the Diocese.

As we commend Tom to God, we give thanks for his life, inspiration and friendship, and remember Trisha his wife and son Neil and family. May Tom and all the faithful departed rest in peace and rise in glory.
