    Obituary

    MURRAY RUDDENKLAU 1930-2006

    Cairo Guesthouse manager

Murray Ruddenklau died unexpectedly, on December 2nd, following a fall. He and his wife, Faye, were Wardens of the Cathedral Guest House, and he was also the valued Maintenance Manager after a fall. He was a great man who poured out himself in the service of the Diocese. We are sure that he is with the Lord but he will be greatly missed here.

Everyone was touched by the faith of Faye during this tragic time. She wrote: “Please pass on my grateful thanks for all those prayers the saints put up on behalf of my dear husband Murray. He truly is now totally healed, with the Lord. He and Father Monir Sostanes were good friends; they will be having a reunion.”

There was a celebration of his life of service at All Saints’ Cathedral. His son, Anton, accompanied Faye to New Zealand for his funeral in Nelson Cathedral, New Zealand.
