The money you give through JMECA will support the essential work of the Dioceses in Jerusalem and the Middle East and North Africa.

You can support by giving a general donation, which will be used at the bishops' discretion within the Province supporting the work that is most in need at the time. Alternatively if you prefer to support a specific project or diocese please clearly state where you wish your donation to be directed when making sending it.

Here are some ways you can send a donation to us:

Make a one-off or regular donations via Charity Giving
Make a one-off donations on line via Paypal
Set up a standing order with your bank using this Standing Order Form
Send a cheque or charity voucher (payable to The Jerusalem and the Middle East Church Association) to the Secretary, JMECA, 1 Hart House, The Hart, Farnham, Surrey. GU9 7HJ

Are you a tax payer? Then you may be able to increase the value of your gift with Gift Aid.

Gift Aid increases the value of donations to UK charities by allowing them to reclaim basic rate tax on your gift. Simply fill out a Gift Aid Declaration and send it to JMECA at our Farnham Office.

Are you eligible?

You must pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax equal to the tax that the charity reclaims on your donations in the tax year (currently £2.50 for each £10 you give) i.e. tax is paid at basic rate.
If you pay tax at the higher rate you can claim further tax relief on your Self-Assessment tax return.
You can cancel your declaration at any time by notifying us – if, for example, your circumstances change and you no longer pay tax on your income and capital gains equal to the tax that the charity reclaims. Your declaration will then not apply to donations you make on or after the date you specify for cancellation.
