- the new bishop, Bishop Sean Semple as he oversees the church in the many countries that form the diocese. Pray that “he will be blessed by God in order to be a spiritual and practical blessing to each nation”.
- the worship, life and work of St George's Church, Baghdad, Iraq, especially for the dedicated ministry of Revd Canon Faiz Jerjes. We honour the ecumenical relationship that exists among the Christian communities in Iraq, and give thanks for the return to Baghdad of Patriarch Louis Sako, leader of the Chaldean Christian community.
- for discernment for the appointments panel who interviewed at the end of August for the position of a new parish priest for St Andrew Abu Dhabi
