Following the tragic explosion in Beirut the Archbishop for the Diocese of Jerusalem, who oversees Lebanon, has initiated an appeal to raise funds for the repair of the All Saint's Church building and the outreach programme the local church are running to support those in the community whose lives have been shattered by the blast.
In his letter, Archbishop Suhail Dawani was able to confirm that Venerable Imad Zoorob, Archdeacon over Lebanon and Syria and Rector of All Saints Episcopal Church, had reported that the church building had sustained tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage due to it's proximity to the blast, as did the Anglican Centre at the Near Eastern School of Theology complex and many of the parishioners' apartments. Miraculously none of the members of the two resident congregations were killed or seriously injured and the church's stained glass windows had survived.

Please GIVE what you can to enable the congregation to return to worship and give thanks in the church and begin their practical support for the local community.
Please PRAY for the community in Lebanon who are facing this tragedy on top of the ongoing economic and health burden of the current pandemic.
