It is rare that the Church is so outspoken on affairs of government - but heads of churches in Jerusalem expressed their deep concern about Israeli unilateral annexation plans in a statement issued on 7 May. Their grave concerns are that moving forward with an Israeli plan to unilaterally annex West Bank land could mean the end to the already languishing Palestinian-Israeli peace talks.
