Following further restrictions on movement within the UK and the announcement that Wonderful.org, our online giving platform, will close down this month, an email update has been sent to supporters urging them to donate via alternative online options.
JMECA is continuing to support the Province of Jerusalem and the Middle East but we need your help...
- Please email us at [email protected] rather than send letters as our staff are now working from home.
- Please continue to make donations as the work of the dioceses is ongoing and the call on their resources at this time is increasing especially in relation to their hospital and social care ministries
- The online giving platform we use is shutting down at the end of March. If you are planning to give to the Good Friday Appeal or to JMECA in general using this method please make your donation this week, by 31st March. These donations will be sent to us in April and this is the quickest way for your donation to reach the dioceses.
- From April onwards, make donations online if you can rather than sending cheques:
- via bank transfer or standing order to the JMECA account (please email the Secretary for details)
- via your Paypal account
- via your CAF / Stewardship account
Cheques/vouchers will be processed when access to the office allows.
Please continue to pray for the Province and know that we will be praying for you and your families at this time.
Let me leave you with this prayer shared by Archbishop Michael Lewis at the end of his recent pastoral letter:
Lord, in these days of mercy,
make us quiet and prayerful;
in these days of challenge,
make us stronger in you;
in these days of emptiness,
take possession of us;
in these days of waiting,
open our hearts to the mystery of your cross.

May God bless you and keep you safe,
