Congratulations to Mrs Angela Murray on being awarded an MBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours. The citation notes her service to charity and community in the Kingdom of Bahrain as well as her service on the Bahrain Anglican Church Council.

Angela is well known across the diocese not least for her membership of Bishop’s Council and Standing and Finance Committee. A published author, she is completing a comprehensive history of the diocese.
Angela will also be installed as a lay canon of St Christopher’s Cathedral on 23 February.
