The Patriarchs and Heads of Churches in Jerusalem have issued a Christmas message centred on the Biblical image of light shining in the darkness
The annual message this year describes the Christian faithful belief that every small light helps to defeat the darkness. The message describes the current darkness, particularly in Gaza, but also the hope that the ceasefire has brought. It also sets out the fuller hope for healing, restoration and peace.
